Look At The Massive Burn Scar Left By Colorado's Wildfires

The Waldo Canyon Fire west of Colorado Springs has been called the worst in the state’s history.

On July 4, NASA’s Terra satellite snapped a photo of the scar left behind by the massive blaze, which has burned more than 18,000 acres of land.

In this artificially-coloured image, red shows vegetation-covered land. That huge swath of dark brown shows the most severely burned area.
