USA Today has just released the first preseason coaches poll for 2011 and the Oklahoma Sooners are top of the college football world … for now.The Sooners bring back almost their entire starting lineup from a 12-2 Big 12 championship team last season, including the best QB-WR combo in the country in Landry Jones and Ryan Broyles.

And the team they beat in the Big 12 championship game, No. 11 Nebraska, isn’t even in their conference anymore.

Always loaded Alabama is No. 2. Defending champ Auburn – minus Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton and defensive monster Nick Fairley, among others – is 19th.
