Here's All The Free Stuff College Football Players Get For Playing In A Bowl Game

College football players may not get paid, but they do receive lucrative scholarships and stipends.And if you’re on a successful team, you get something even better — a bowl gift package.

All 35 bowls give players and coaches gift packages that can include everything from iPad Mini’s to hair dryers.

According to the SportsBusiness Journal, the NCAA allows the bowls to distribute up to $550 in gifts to 125 participants per school.

The SportsBusiness Journal put together a list of all of the items that will be given away to those teams this year, and we’ve compiled a list of the most common and interesting gifts.

Teams in the Alamo Bowl (Oregon State v. Texas) and Military Bowl (San Jose State vs. Bowling Green) get an iPad mini

Minnesota and Texas Tech will get 32-inch flat-screen TVs at the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas

Notre Dame and Alabama will get a gift suite and a Tourneau watch for playing in the national championship

A hair dryer is the weirdest item being given out. USC and Georgia Tech will get them at the Sun Bowl

The most popular item is a Fossil watch, which will be given out at 19 of the 35 bowls

Teams in 16 different bowls get to choose if they want gifts from an order form (gift suite) or a shopping spree

Plenty of Oakley products will be distributed, with backpacks and/or sunglasses given out at six different bowls

Every bowl team, with the exception of four, will be getting a free watch

The New Era Pinstripe Bowl, Outback Bowl and TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowls give out rings for showing up

Gift cards to restaurants and retail stores are given out at five games
