It’s Mitt Romney for the win in Michigan and Arizona! Yes! Full speed ahead to the nomination!
Well, not really. The GOP hasn’t yet fallen for Romney, and Stephen Colbert has taken notice. After Mitt won Michigan by only a hair, Colbert noted last night that Republicans are still looking for a white knight to save the day.
But it’s only a matter of time, he said, before the party supports Romney. And now we can measure that time, thanks to the “Countdown To Loving Mitt Clock,” which marks time until Super Tuesday, when Colbert predicts the party will fall in line.
“One week from now we will most likely come together and support the guy we’re hoping is not the guy,” Colbert said.
