Chris Christie is going to announce his presidential bid at his old high school -- here's what he was like back then

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is announcing his 2016 presidential bid on Tuesday afternoon at his old high school in New Jersey, making him the 14th major Republican hopeful so far.

Ahead of the event, we tracked down Christie in Livingston High School’s 1980 yearbook.

Check out what we found:

Christie seems to have written a note to social studies teacher Mrs. Betty Spector:

“Dear Mrs. Spector, I really can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for me. Through all the hustle and big-shot fever I got being Senior class [President] you made me look at myself. Sometimes I didn’t like what I saw but with your help I always understood it. You deserve only the best, and always follow your star, wherever it leads you. Love, Chris.”
