When NBA megastar Chris Bosh rang the opening bell at the NYSE yesterday morning, some on the trading floor apparently (according to the NYPost) decided, Now would be a good time to convince Bosh he should have joined the Knicks.Knicks fans had hopes in early July that Bosh would be moving to the Big Apple, after he met with the team at the Peninsula Hotel to talk. But Bosh chose to go with the Miami Heat.
So once they had Bosh within earshot, traders tried a few different approaches to convince Bosh he made a big mistake.
Some ignored him.
One trader told Bosh that if he’d signed with the Knicks, “it would have been a madhouse in here.” Left unsaid: But since you didn’t – no one shives a ghit.
Others who were more desperate invited him to come back when his contract expires in six years.
