Fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines have been waiting for official news of the home renovation couple’s next move ever since they announced they were leaving HGTV in 2017. Now, it’s official: the powerhouse Gaines empire is moving not just to a new channel, but to their very own television network.

Discovery, Inc. revealed in a press release Wednesday that they are partnering with Magnolia – Chip and Joanna’s home and lifestyle brand – to launch a “multi-platform media joint venture.”

Here’s everything we know so far:

The network will be driven by ‘the Gaines’s creative vision’

“All services will be inspired by Magnolia and driven by the Gaines’ creative vision,” the press release states. As Vanity Fair pointed out, this detail is noteworthy given that when the couple left HGTV, a source told the publication it followed clashes with the network after they reportedly refused to feature Magnolia products on “Fixer Upper.”

In this new venture with HGTV’s parent company, both Chip and Joanna will be named Chief Creative Officers.

It’s coming in the summer of 2020

This includes the “linear television network” as well as a TV Everywhere GO app.

There will also be a ‘TV Everywhere’ GO app

This app “represents the latest GO service launched by Discovery” since the network rolled out its various TV Everywhere authenticated apps in 2016.

The network will include home, garden, and design

According to the press release, the concepts in development “will center around” community, home, garden, food, wellness, entrepreneurialism, and design. It will also include the complete library of “Fixer Upper.”

So far, it doesn’t have a name

It’s not yet confirmed whether the network will be called “Magnolia” or something else.

The DIY Network will be renamed to fit with the brand

The DIY Network reaches 52 million US homes, but the Gaines’ new show will take the place of that and the channel will be renamed.

Expect a subscription streaming service at some point

While it isn’t expected at the same time as the TV Everywhere app or the TV network, the press release states that a streaming service is in the works for a delayed debut.
