The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is one of the most hotly anticipated cars of the year. With 580 horsepower and a beautiful body, enthusiasts the world over are chomping at the bit to get their hands on one.And now it appears they’ll need to wait a little longer.
According to a report on Motor Authority, GM is holding all production and dealer shipments of the ZL1 for quality assessment.
This comes just days after the Volt production halt.
There are currently no details as to what the fault they are assessing is, and they are calling this a “routine” quality assessment.
Deliveries of the car were supposed to start in April, so people who have put deposits down cannot be happy about this last minute snag. That also means we’ll be waiting a little bit longer to spend a few days testing one in the real world.
