We’re finally getting a look at the first teaser poster for Oliver Stone‘s celeb-filled “Savages,” and although it looks great, we can’t help but laugh a little. We’re not sure if this was done by the poster’s designers on purpose, but site HeyUGuys has cleverly cropped off the top and bottom of the poster to isolate the portion that shows lead actress Blake Lively hanging between the letters V-A-G. There’s even a small character giving a thumbs up below Lively’s face.
That should help their marketing campaign.
The crime-thriller, based on the novel by Don Winslow, features a slew of Hollywood A-listers: Benicio del Toro, Uma Thurman, Taylor Kitsch (this is your chance to make up for “John Carter“), John Travolta and Salma Hayek to name a few.

Haven’t heard of the film? Here’s a synopsis:
“Blake Lively plays the gal pal of two Laguna Beach drug dealers (Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch) who is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel who wants to move in on their turf. Del Toro plays the cartel enforcer with Uma Thurman as Lively’s mum, Salma Hayek as the leader of the cartel, John Travolta as a burnt-out DEA agent, the recently Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir as a double-crossing attorney who represents Hayek’s cartel, Joel David Moore as a computer nerd and Emile Hirsch in an unnamed role.”
“Savages” comes out in the U.S. July 6th, with a UK release date of September 28.
If you’re excited, MTV’s Josh Horowitz just tweeted that the trailer will premiere tomorrow. For now, check out this sneak peek:
