We’ve been examining monthly jobs reports for a few years now, and each month there’s one beacon of consistency: Growth in healthcare jobs.
This month was no exception. Health care and social assistance jobs were responsible for over 60,000 jobs, according to the BLS.
Anyway, what’s amazing is what a straight line the trajectory of healthcare employment in the U.S. is.
From 1990 to now the line only goes up, month after month after month, regardless of the economic cycle.
Try finding anything else that looks vaguely similar anywhere in the economy.
