CBS Buys Clicker, Names Jim Lanzone Boss Of CBS Interactive

CBS just announced that it has acquired, the TV Guide-for-Internet TV founded by former boss Jim Lanzone.

Lanzone will become President of CBS Interactive.

CBS didn’t disclose how much if paid for San Francisco-based Clicker, but said the site has about 2.5 million monthly visitors.

The company had raised $19 million from Benchmark Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Jafco Ventures, and Slingbox founder Blake Krikorian, in two rounds.
