Andrew Sullivan’s The Dish blog will go back to being an independent venture as he and his team exits The Daily Beast.
Daily Beast blogger Andrew Sullivan is not happy about the latest Pew Research poll, which shows Republican presidential candidate surging 12 points to hold a 49 per cent to 46 per cent lead over President Barack Obama. Here’s what Sullivan had to say about the poll:
Sarah Palin’s Twitter followers got a blast from the past last night, when the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate slammed Newsweek for their cover story “Why Are Obama’s Critics So Dumb.”
Will Wilkinson decries patent trolling, which was covered recently by This American Life:
When Andrew Sullivan left The Atlantic to join Tina Brown‘s NewsBeast much was made of how his departure would be a huge loss for the Atlantic and a huge boon for Brown. And for good reason.
It has been a roller coaster ride in media this year.
Ah, we love this story. The Atlantic is, of course, the 153-year-old brainy magazine which had been perennially losing money.
If today’s Sunday shows were any measure, Obama’s best shot at redemption between now and 2012 is a full-on focus on the deficit with some attention paid to the apparent lack of GOP cooperation therein.
