Season two of “You” is filled with a fresh cast that you may recognise from other TV shows and movies.

The Lifetime-turned-Netflix thriller features a cast of seasoned actors and Hollywood newcomers who have appeared in a number of projects over the years.

Here’s where you may recognise the cast of “You” season two from.


Penn Badgley reprised his role as Joe Goldberg. He was famous for his role on “Gossip Girl.”

Prior to starring on season one of “You,” the actor also starred on The CW’s “Gossip Girl” as Dan Humphrey.


Ambyr Childers, who played Candace Stone on the first season of “You,” is also back. She’s had roles on SyFy and Showtime shows.

Before her unexpected appearance at the end of season one, many viewers thought that Stone had disappeared for good – but she returned for a number of episodes throughout season two.

Victoria Pedretti plays Joe’s new love interest. You may recognise her from another Netflix show, “The Haunting of Hill House.”

Victoria Pedretti plays Joe’s new love interest Love Quinn, who is also a chef and produce manager at the high-end wellness store Anavrin.

Pedretti had her big break as Eleanor “Nell” Crain on the Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House” and she recently appeared as Lulu in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”


James Scully plays Love Quinn’s twin brother, Forty Quinn. Before this, he was on the “Heathers” TV series remake.

Fans of The CW’s “Jane the Virgin” will recognise Jenna Ortega, who plays Ellie Alves.

Ortega’s most notable role is on “Jane the Virgin,” but viewers may also recognise the actress from her role on Disney’s “Stuck in the Middle.”


Charlie Barnett plays Love’s best friend and closest confidant on the second season of “You.” He recently appeared in the Netflix show “Russian Doll.”
