Here's The Bottom Line On ABC News Paying To Talk With A Casey Anthony Juror

Twitter theories are flying: did ABC News pay for the first legit Casey Anthony juror interview?

How much?

What’s juror number six going to say?

The bottom line, straight from an ABC spokesperson:

No, they did not pay for the juror interview. It was, in the spokesperson’s words, “a straight booking.”

The interview (which is already being excerpted on the ABC News website) will air tonight during the network’s “Primetime Nightline” special tonight at 10 p.m.

Terry Moran will be the one sitting down with Jennifer Ford, the juror who has come forward, and he just reiterated on Twitter that no money changed hands. (See below.)

For the record, Ford was juror number three — and no one seems to know how the number six got dragged into the ABC mess.

(The number was attached earlier in the day to a publicist letter hawking a sitdown with another juror to various outlets.)

The special also includes Barbara Walters‘ interview with defence attorney Jose Baez. Here’s a preview glimpse from the set of their talk, courtesy of ABC News.
