As he promised last month when he insisted that he was moving as far away from the Bengals as possible, Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer has put his home up for sale with an asking price of $2.1 million.A sale might also help pad his bank account while not being able to work due to the NFL lockout.
The listing describes Palmer’s Indian Hill, Ohio ,estate as an “exceptional home that exudes comfort, character, and privacy.” The house contains 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and a solarium. Elsewhere on the property is a hot tub, an in-ground pool, a pond and a golf green.
Carson Palmer is under contract with the Bengals until 2014, but sources have claimed he will retire if he is not traded or somehow released from his commitment. The Bengals have yet to make any indications that they are attempting to move him.
