Capital One Deals Beamed Direct To Your Phone

Capital One remains one of the most popular card issuers within Outlaw‘s credit card offers portal. Compare our favourite new credit cards from the bank this month, and apply online, right here.

Aside from their customer service, I like the bank’s willingness to jump on new technologies and trends before some of the more conservative, slow-moving banks do so. Their new mobile banking & deals app is a prime example of this…

According to a Capital One rep, they’ve “recently rolled out a new program that offers customers personalised, money-saving offers from select merchants. These deals are now integrated into Capital One’s newly upgraded mobile banking app,” which works on iPhones and Android devices.

“The deals are automatically activated for customers so there’s no clipping or hunting for coupons when checking out. Staying true to our Hassle Free brand, this is an easy and simple way to save money. Especially when you are travelling, you can use these deals to save some money without having to carry your coupons with you at all times,” the bank’s rep explained.

Sample screenshot below — to get Capital One Deals loaded on your smartphone, simply download the Capital One Mobile Banking app from the iPhone App Store or Android store on Google Play. I hope other major credit card companies follow with similar deals integration; it certainly beats sifting through LivingSocial, Groupon and the other sites each day. And as the bank pointed out to me, it also beats the inconvenience of carrying physical coupons.
