The Canal Room Is Bringing Its Cheesy '80s Dance Party To The Hamptons This Summer

Don’t forget to pack your neon spandex and sweatband for your next Hamptons trip—the weekly ’80s-themed bash that takes place at TriBeCa’s Canal Room is heading east for the summer and you don’t want to be under-dressed.

Nightlife impresarios Marcus Linial and Sam Lott, who are behind the Manhattan-based club, are set to open a sister space in Southampton in mid-June.

Their hardcore ’80s band Rubix Kube is already on the calendar (June 15!), as is their in-house ’90s band and a ’70s cover band called Yacht Rock.

The space, on Southampton’s Elm Street, will be able to hold 800 people, almost twice the number of the city space.
