We always have a certain amount of trepidation when we leave our car unattended at a parking lot for an extended amount of time.
And now we have proof that our fears are not unfounded.
So they decided to find out for themselves.
WFTV rented a red Corvette Convertible and parked it at the lot. They put GPS trackers on it to see if it moved. After just six hours in the lot, the car was on the roads, running errands, getting pictures taken, and even doing burnouts. And WFTV got everything on tape.
Even more unbelievably, Jay Nieves, the owner of the lot, flat out denied everything when the camera crews confronted him, even though they had rolls of footage and substantial proof that he was indeed in the car.
