Startup 2012 was a huge success, especially for SoMoLend, the winning startup. After the long day of events it was time to party.Business Insider and Aloft, a Starwood Hotel, threw a great party, featuring an open bar and the band Ryan Star, for all these entrepreneurs and startups. And, things got pretty wild.

Every After Party needs a sign.

And a crowd.

Look, some Business Insider reporters are also enjoying the party. From left to right, Kim Bhasin, Meredith Galante, Matt Lynley, and Steve Kovach

Danielle Lacombe opened up the event.

The band Ryan Star was there to entertain.

Pretty rocking.

Some watch from the sides.

Others got closer for photos, like Bridget Higgins, Global Brand Manager at Aloft.

Everyone was enjoying the show. At centre is Sarah Lipton, Global Brand Marketing Manager - Specialty Select Brands, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, with friends.

Watching intently. Stephanie Von Tesmar of Razorfish (foreground) and Heather Lorenzo of Razorfish (background).

And singing intently too.

More party goers enjoying the scene. Left to right Marc Boswell, Corey Brand, and Sandor Marik.

The band got pretty loud.

But everyone was just having fun. Left to right, Matt Lynley, Marc Boswell, Valerie Reimer, and Michael Nahoum.

Pieter Dubois was loving the music.

And the band was happy to provide it.

As the night went on everyone started to get really into it. Dubois with Ali Byrd of Secondmarket (right).

The mood was infectious. Stephanie Von Tesmar of Razorfish (right) and Heather Lorenzo of Razorfish (left).

And the band played on.

Party goers received complimentary drinks like the ones that will be available at the W Hotels Aloft as seen in this picture.

Party people. Lacombe and friends from Blue State Digital.

Drinks flowed all night.

And the singer crooned.

While people relaxed.

Plenty of people taking pictures from all angles.

The lead singer even got off stage to come into the crowd.

Very excited.

Can you play the avocado? Byrd can!

Look at those tambourine moves.

Not to be outdone.

A little break from the madness.

But then it is right back into the mix. Jessica Lacombe and Evan Moody from Blue State Digital dancing.

A real knock out.

So a new dance partner emerges.

But the fallen won't stay down.

Out at the bar it was a little calmer.

But not on the dance floor.

And then the guitar got passed around. Moody shows his skills.

It was a bubbly evening.

Lacombe really rocked out.

And Giuseppe Vittiglio, freelance graphic designer, got all the girls into it.

And his moves were pretty awesome.
