Business Insider is the fastest-growing business news site on the web.As part of our expansion, we’re looking for a writer/editor who wants to spend his/her days writing about all things transportation. We’ll cover the entire space— from planes and trains, to cars, yachts, jets, and even space travel.
If you take a look at our Lifestyle section, you’ll see what kinds of transportation stories we already write. (Here’s a cool one where our West Coast Editor Matt Rosoff took the Tesla Roadster out for a spin.)
We’re interested in expanding our coverage even further to:
- Cover the companies that make the toys: Did you hear about that crazy recall?
- Get out and take photos: This is your chance to finally go to the NY Auto show!
- Review new transportation-related products: Just like we do with gadgets in our Tools section.
This writer/editor would be working under our Lifestyle editor, writing several stories a day. We’ll also feature a ton of contributors content on the vertical, like these photos from the Frankfurt car show. So it would be this editor’s responsibility to find great outside content.
No need to have experience writing about transportation. It’s more important that this person is a solid writer who’s eager to learn about the space.
