Texas governor and struggling GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry is up with a new ad today slamming his leading opponent — former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — over the controversial health care plan he introduced in the Bay State.
The New York Times’ Jeff Zeleny reported the upcoming assault yesterday, which portrays Romney as flip-flopping on whether he would push the health care plan on other states if elected president.
The ad opens with the line “America’s Most Damaging Prescription: OBAMACARE,” before changing the last word to “RONMEYCARE,” and features endorsements of Romney’s plan from President Barack Obama and former President Jimmy Carter.
It ends with Romney’s campaign logo — and the (Obama) line “Change you can believe in?”
