Bravo’s “Start-Ups: Silicon Valley” follows the lives of eight entrepreneurs who are trying to make it.But last night’s premiere episode focused mostly on siblings Ben and Hermione Way, two UK natives who were separated when they were younger after their parents divorced.
Ben went with his dad and eventually became passionate about business, and Hermione lived with her mum, finding an interest journalism.
The siblings ultimately reunited and decided to start Ignite, a company focused on helping people be healthier in life. Ben is focused on the tech side of things while Hermione deals with marketing.
Now, they’re two of the main characters on the new Bravo TV show, an object of much ridicule in the industry on which that’s based.
Here’s the requisite reality-TV drama: Hermione and fellow cast member Sarah Austin used to be best friends, but fell out when they worked on a project together at the South By Southwest conference in Austin, Texas. And to top it off, Ben actually likes Sarah, which doesn’t bode well with Hermione.
(That image above is Hermione’s reaction after she can’t settle her issues with Sarah.)
