Former Barclays CEO Bob Diamond’s daughter Nell Diamond resigned from her position at Deutsche Bank, Business Insider has learned after calling her desk this morning.Nell, who graduated from Princeton University, worked in Institutional Rate Sales on the third floor of Deutsche Bank’s 60 Wall Street offices.
We’re told by insiders at the firm that she stood out at the firm because she dressed “very couture” and would often times wear Christian Louboutins (the shoes with the red soles) to work.
On July 3rd, Nell, who is a prolific Tweeter, Tweeted something nasty to British officials after Bob Diamond’s resignation from his post Barclays amid the LIBOR scandal.
Here’s what she allegedly Tweeted. (It was deleted shortly after).
“George Osborne (Chancellor of the Exchequer) and Ed Miliband (Labour Party head) can go ahead and #hmd.”
In case you were wondering, #hmd stands for “hold my d***.
Nell hasn’t Tweeted since July 3rd and she could not immediately be reached for comment at the time of publication.
Deutsche Bank didn’t immediately respond to request for comment. We’ll update as warranted.
