Former president Bill Clinton isn’t exactly famous for saying no.
But that was reportedly his answer to Tina Fey and producers on “30 Rock,” who wanted Clinton to appear in their 100th episode. The milestone show comes on April 20.
If Clinton had come through, he’d have joined his former veep Al Gore in the show’s guest star hall of fame.
Before you call Bill a bad sport, though, note that sources say the request was denied by his staff — not Clinton himself.
We have a feeling he’d fit it in if he could — especially since he’s showing some interest in comedy of late. Clinton has a cameo in the Thailand-set sequel to “The Hangover,” out this Memorial Day weekend.
Maybe producers can make it happen next season. We’d all love to watch Jack Donaghy call Bubba a high-class hippie.
