The iPhone is pretty useful right out of the box.But for some, Apple’s offering isn’t enough.

That’s where jailbreaking comes in. Jailbreaking is a method that hacks into your phone and opens it up to other apps and modifications not approved by Apple.

If you love customising your phone, then check out our favourite jailbreak apps and tweaks. Since our last jailbreak apps roundup, a lot of cool new iOS 5 programs came about, such as the famous virtual assistant Siri.

Thanks to jailbreaking, you can now access Siri even if you don’t have Apple’s latest iPhone 4S.

You can all of these install these apps with the help of Cydia, a jailbreak version of the iTunes App Store that installs when you jailbreak your phone.

Zephyr lets you multi-task between apps with just swipes

In a Mac operating system, to switch between applications, you have to hold down Command + Tab and look for your recently used apps. Thanks to Zephyr, you can easily swap apps and multi-task by just swiping back and forth from one window to another. Instead of heading home, you can also swipe up to bring your main navigation bar and never have to leave your app.
