The NBA lockout negotiations got heated this weekend.
Dwyane Wade reportedly got in a verbal altercation with David Stern, and no significant progress was made.
But at the players’ press conference after the session, Cavs guard Baron Davis showed up wearing leopard-print tortoise shell glasses and a form-fitting flannel shirt.
The fashion choice, and his presence in general, was part of an attempt to keep things light, he says.
“I’m funny looking, so that helps ease the tension,” he told Newsday basketball writer Alan Hahn.
