The Barclays building between 49th and 50th in Midtown Manhattan experienced a scare Tuesday morning because of a suspicious vehicle parked outside.UPDATE: The scare is over. There has been confirmation that the truck is not suspicious, and traders are back at their desks.

The scare: There was a truck parked outside the building, and no one knows what it is, or what it’s doing there.

The word is that there hasn’t been an official evacuation because of the truck, but we did hear from a source that there was some sort of evacuation.

We also heard that they were told to move away from the windows.

We’ll have more details when we get them.

At Morgan Stanley, which is nearby, we hear there has been no evacuation.
