All across Spain yesterday, tens of thousands of students took to the streets to protest austerity cuts to education, AP reports.In Barcelona, a smaller group pulled away and began starting fires and throwing missiles, allegedly provoked by the police.

Protestors had been protesting cuts to education that they saw as disrupting their studies.
