Police found metal tins containing a human head and hands inside a Baltimore-area townhouse that was home to two Morgan State University students.
But in a chilling twist, this wasn’t just a murder. The suspect confessed to eating the heart and parts of the brain of the man he killed, CBS Baltimore reported.
The remains appear to belong to 37-year-old Kujoe Agyei-Kodie, a Ghana native who holds several master’s degrees and was earning yet another at the university.
Alexander Kinyua, another student who was out on bond stemming from another assault at the time Agyei-Kodie was killed, hasn’t given police a reason for why he ate his fellow student’s remains.
Nor has be shown any remorse, according to CBS Baltimore.
The rest of Agyei-Kodie’s remains were found in a dumpster behind a local church.
Kinyua has a long history of violent behaviour. He once attacked a fellow student with a baseball bat in the university dorms, according to CBS Baltimore.
The Baltimore attack comes on the heels of a vicious cannibal attack in Miami. Randy Eugene ate the forehead, mouth, and nose of Ronald Poppo while allegedly under the influence of bath salts.
