Plus-size women’s clothing retailer Avenue Stores, LLC is shutting down all locations.
On Wednesday, the company announced plans to close all 222 stores across 33 states. Everything from clothing to store fixtures will be sold from locations across America, according to a press release.
Prices will be slashed by 30-50% off of the lowest price on all items.
Prior to the news about Avenue, retailers had announced more than 8,000 store closures so far in 2019, according to an analysis by Business Insider. Charlotte Russe, Family Dollar, and Chico’s in March announced more than 1,100 store closures in a span of 24 hours.
