Australian swimwear brand Seafolly is opening its first European store in Cannes

Australian swimwear brand Seafolly is opening its first European store in Rue D’antibes in Cannes.

Set to open its doors April 30, the new store is in the heart of the famous shopping precinct and features a refined interior concept showcasing its swim line, activewear and accessories.

“Seafolly has a strong international wholesale business that has delivered healthy year on year growth,” says CEO Paul Kotrba.

“We see significant opportunities to expand on this business and become a market leader reflective of our position in our home market, Australia.”

The new European location, renowned for its rich and famous visitors, will also enable the brand to better serve international customers.

“Our own retail store will connect consumers directly with the brand, allow them to experience the breath of range and best in class service we are known for,” he said.

“Selecting Cannes, as our first European owned retail store was an easy choice, not only because it is well recognised globally as an idyllic summer destination, but also because the Cannes lifestyle resonates with the Seafolly brand personality.”

Started in Sydney in 1975, Seafolly is sold in 41 countries, through its own channels, leading retailers and major online sites. Existing Seafolly stores are located in Australia, in the US and Singapore — and soon France.
