Australian stocks are rallying and the ASX200 is through 5,600

Australian shares have hit a 12-month high.

The ASX 200 broke through the 5600 mark on the index for the first time since August last year.

A short time ago, the index was at 5,605, up 42.64 points or 0.77%,

All ten sectors were adding weight with BHP 1.15% higher at $19.81 and the NAB up 1.2% at $26.88.
