AT&T is launching a program on July 10 that will “blocklist” phones that have been reported lost or stolen, reports The Verge.AT&T customers will need to call the company and report a phone stolen or lost and its service will be automatically suspended.

The new service is likely a result of the government’s push to quell the black market for lost and stolen phones.
