AT&T: LTE Coming To NYC 'Very Soon'

AT&T’s Vice President of communications Larry Solomon just announced at Mashable’s Media Summit that New York City will get the carrier’s LTE service “very soon.”Solomon didn’t provide a precise time frame, but this is the first time AT&T has publicly mentioned LTE would arrive in NYC.

Starting Sunday, the carrier will expand LTE to four more cities: Boston, Washington D.C., Athens, Ga., and Baltimore. It’s also launching two new smartphones that run on the network: The HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
