In February, TechCrunch reported that CBS (CBS) music site Last.fm handed over user-data to the Recording Industry Association of America. Last.fm denied it and said “TechCrunch is full of shit.” The story seemed to die. Now it’s back, with TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington saying Last.fm management was lied to by parent-company CBS.
It’s all a bit of a he-said, he-said at this point. And we don’t even mean that as a mere expression.
