NFL Scout Jayson Braddock and Radio Talk Show Host Dylan Gwinn are back with their regular weekly segment as they talk about all the happenings and non-happenings in the world of the NFL this past week.
Jayson and Dylan actually start off the segment talking about marital bliss and happiness in the homestead. Seriously! But don’t fear, the talk quickly turns to NFL talk as Houston Texans’ Arian Foster who is up for an ESPY in three different categories comes on the show to talk about his prospects for winning the awards.
In 2010 Arian became the All-Time NFL single season leading rusher for a player who had not been drafted with 1,616 yards, surpassing Priest Holmes’ 1,615 season in 2002 by one yard. Adrian gives us his thoughts on his remarkable 2010 season and talks about putting up numbers within the framework of a team effort.
The most interesting part of the interview is when Foster addresses what it was like to be an undrafted free agent in the league, and whether he plays with a chip on his shoulder using that as motivation to perform.
Foster talks about fullback Vonta Leach opening holes for him and gives his thought on Leach’s demands to be the highest paid fullback in the league.
Lastly, after Houston head coach Gary Kubiak goes on record stating that linebacker Brian Cushing will go “gangbusters” this year, Jayson gives his thoughts on the over-trained linebacker moving inside.
If you’ve got 21:35 to spare, it’s a wonderful interview.
