Here’s Apple’s latest iPad ad. It’s not just about selling the iPad, but it is about defining Apple’s mission statement.

“Technology alone is not enough,” says the narrator.

This is what Steve Jobs said at the end of his iPad 2 release speech: “It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology is not enough. It’s tech married with the liberal arts and the humanities.”

While the competition chases after geeky things like hardware specs, Jobs believes Apple will win by chasing after software that delivers a better emotional experience.
