Apple's iCloud service was having technical issues

Apple’s iCloud service had some issues on Friday, as users on social media reported they couldn’t access their iCloud email.

Apple’s own system status page displayed 19 resolved issues with Apple services, mostly with iCloud services like Find My iPhone, Mail, and Calendar. The page said that only 1.5% of users were affected, and the outage took place from 11:35 a.m. to 1:31 p.m. eastern time.

iMessage and App Store are fine during the brief outage. Business Insider staffers were able to log in to iCloud from a computer in New York during the outage.
