Apple's Designers Actually Work Together At A Kitchen Table Coming Up With Apple's Next Great Products

Apple may be a huge company with tens of thousands of employees, but most of its products are initially conceived by a small group of just 15 or 16 designers sitting around a kitchen table.That’s according to the testimony of Christopher Stringer, an industrial designer at Apple, who was the first witness called in the blockbuster patent trial between Apple and Samsung.

“We’ll sit there with our sketch books and trade ideas,” Stringer said in his testimony, according to AllThingsD. “That’s where the really hard, brutal honest criticism comes in.”
