Apple's New MacBook Pro Is Almost As Thin As The MacBook Air

The next generation MacBook Pro laptops will be 25% thinner and come with Retina Display, Apple announced at its Worldwide Developers Conference Monday.The new MacBook Pro will be 0.71 inches, about as thin as the MacBook Air. The display will be 2880 X 1880, or 5.18 million pixels.

The baseline model starts at $2,199 and starts shipping today.

The updated Pro will have a better contrast ratio and reduce glare by a whopping 75%.

The laptop will have a FaceTime HD camera, up to 768 GB of fast flash storage, a quieter fan, an HDMI port and up to 7 hours of battery life.
