Apple announced new iPad Pros, Mac Minis, and MacBook Airs at its October 2018 event today in Brooklyn. Many of the products have features adopted from other Apple products – the new iPad Pro doesn’t have a home button and instead uses Face ID to unlock, while the MacBook Air has added Touch ID.

The new Air is made of 100% recycled aluminium and features a 13.3-inch Retina display with 4 million pixels. The aluminium border around the display has been replaced with a thin black bezel. The trackpad is 20% larger than before. It also comes with up to 1.5 terabytes of storage and a battery life for 12 hours of web browsing or 13 hours of iTunes movie playback. The new Air has 17% less volume and is 10% thinner than the previous Air.

The new Mac Mini is five times faster than before and can be configured with up to 64 GB of memory. It has four Thunderbolt 3 ports: HDMI, USB-A, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Apple also unveiled new iPad Pros, both with Retina displays. One model is 11 inches while the other is 12.9 inches. Both iPad Pros are 5.9 mm thick and feature new gestures for controls and multitasking.
