An anonymous group in Grand Rapids, Mich., is distributing flyers showing President Barack Obama next to a Nazi swastika and proclaiming “the Holocaust is coming.”
“Obama is a puppet,” the handout reads, according to UPI, decrying the 2-year-old health care reform law and the National defence Authorization Act. “Hitler’s Nazi Germany has been revived in the U.S. and the target is Americans.”

Vern Jones, 59, told the Grand Rapids Press the flyers had been taped over the coin slots of parking meters along a local street late last week.
“I certainly respect the right to an opinion, but this is a sick opinion,” he told the newspaper. “People have a right to say what they want, print what they want and hand it out, but that gives me a chance to say no. It has gone too far when it’s put on public meters and to a captive audience without a choice. I know conservatives don’t like [Obama], but with the swastikas, it’s just too much for me.”

The flyers also raise the specter of military checkpoints throughout the country and claims it is legal to assassinate Americans, according to The Huffington Post.
The literature refers readers to a website to sign a petition supporting Tea Party ideas and urges people to support Rep. Ron Paul in his bid to become the Republican presidential nominee, according to UPI.
According to the Grand Rapids Press, material on the website came from a woman purporting to live in Grand Rapids, but telephone numbers for a person by the same name were either disconnected or answered by people who denied knowing about the flyer and the petition.
