A new Trojan is making its way on Android devices and it can record every call you make. The malware was discovered by CA Security Advisor. It looks like a harmless application at first, but installs a Trojan that records your calls and stores them on your phone’s SD card.

It’s also possible that the recordings can be uploaded to a remote server without the user’s knowledge.

As always, make sure you know the origin of an Android app before downloading and installing it. One way to help prevent malware is to install a detection app like Lookout Mobile Security.

You can also block non-market apps by unchecking the box next to Unknown Sources in your Applications settings.
