Despite the fact that SkyBridge Capital’s Anthony Scaramucci is now in the 1%, the vocal Wall Street advocate came from humble beginnings.
And since everyone loves a trip down memory lane, he shared those beginnings with New York Magazine’s Jessica Pressler in a recent interview.
“I grew up on Long Island… Big Italian family. I was a bad student. I was chasing girls. I want you to picture this,” he says. “I had a black T-shirt. Gold chains.” He pauses, building to the crescendo. “I had a ’79 Camaro—with a power-booster.” The room erupts. One guy, inexplicably wearing bunny ears, pounds his desk.
We have no words for this. Wait, scratch that… ‘Grease is the word.’
