As seen in the chart below, the stock has skidded to a fresh six-year low in early trade on Friday.
Shares in the diversified financial currently trade at $3.765 a share, down 4.92% from Thursday’s close, leaving it at the lowest level since July 2012.
The latest selloff coincides with a broker downgrade from Macquarie Equities, which cut the stock from outperform to neutral, adding to what has already been a tumultuous few months for shareholders.
From late February 2015, AMP shares have lost more than 45%, including 31.5% since mid-March.
