Amazon launches $20 buttons to turn your Echo into a board game machine

Amazon just introduced Echo Buttons, glowing single-button game controllers that work with its Amazon Echo line of smart speakers. They will come in packs of two for $US20, and they will be available by the holiday season.

In a demo, Amazon showed how these glowing buttons can be used as buzzers in a trivia game, or as lights in a Simon Says-style game.

Amazon Senior VP Dave Limp says that these buttons are intended to bring back family board game night, and jokes that they will be his preferred stocking stuffer this holiday.
