Sorry Apple, You Don't Own The Term "App Store"

A litigious Apple recently filed an injunction against Amazon for using the term “App Store,” but a judge determined that it’s generic and therefore not protected.The clincher is that Apple was unable to establish a “likelihood of confusion” with Amazon’s services, the essential ingredient in getting an injunction issued.
