The development is part of New Zealand Rugby’s commitment to inclusive policies – including the LGBTI community – and was highlighted by a “Diversity is Strength” video, driven by sponsors AIG.
As reported earlier by Stuff, the diversity film was released in Japan to align with Tokyo Pride week.
It’s understood the idea of the jersey was created by advertising agency TBWQ/Hakubobo.
