We are still a week away from the 2011 debut of college football’s BCS rankings, but thanks to some reverse engineering, we get an early peek at what they might look like.Alabama comes out on top in the projected BCS rankings despite not being ranked number one in either poll.

Here are the full projected rankings…

  1. Alabama, .961
  2. LSU, .951
  3. Oklahoma, .950
  4. Oklahoma State, .824
  5. Boise State, .804
  6. Wisconsin, .754
  7. Clemson, .750
  8. Stanford, .718
  9. Michigan, .614
  10. Georgia Tech, .583

Interestingly, if these rankings are correct, we may be see a couple of BCS semifinal games during the regular season. And if the winners of those games also win conference championships, it might not matter how any other schools finish.

Sorry Boise State, Wisconsin, and Stanford.
