Indian Officials Say Al-Qaeda Is A Threat To Cricket World Cup

According to the Times of India, intelligence officials have issued warnings that Al-Qaeda or other terrorist operatives are trying to sneak into the country to perform a Mumbai-like attack during the ongoing Cricket World Cup.Hosting duties for the 2011 Cup were actually supposed to be shared by Pakistan, but the matches were taken away from them after the Sri Lanka national team was attacked by gunmen before a match in 2009.>

The tournament is being played in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka until April 2.
